Philosophy

At Winston Wealth Strategies, we believe successful investing doesn’t require complexity or high costs. We consistently apply time-tested investment principals focused on minimizing fees, maintaining broad diversification, and staying disciplined through market cycles. We believe these factors are the most reliable drivers of long-term wealth.

Our philosophy is simple:

  • Keep costs low to avoid unnecessary drag on performance.

  • Diversify broadly to reduce risk and capture global opportunities.

  • Stay disciplined to avoid emotional decision-making.

  • Plan holistically so investments align with your risk tolerance and goals.

The result is a wealth management approach that is cost-efficient and focused on what truly matters: helping you reach your financial goals with confidence.

Ben Winston brings nearly a decade of experience across financial planning, portfolio management, and private equity. Through this experience, he came to appreciate the importance of always placing client interests above the firm’s. He founded Winston Wealth on the core principles of transparency, objectivity, and a commitment to serving clients first. As a Registered Investment Adviser, Ben serves in a fiduciary capacity — meaning he is legally and ethically obligated to act in his clients’ best interests at all times.

After completing his B.S. in Finance at the University of Nevada, Reno, Ben went on to earn the CFA® charter. The CFA designation is globally recognized and attests to the successful completion of a rigorous program of study in investment management and research analysis. The program cultivates skills in financial security analysis, portfolio management, and ethical standards that serve as valuable tools in investment advisory services.

Outside of finance, Ben loves biking, hiking, and traveling with his girlfriend and their dog.
